PASS.
This TCU team will cause problems for Arizona, which has been running roughshod over its competition. I’ll take my wager to the spread.
BET TCU +6.5 (-105).
This is the kind of spot where the Horned Frogs usually show up, especially under Jamie Dixon. Even coming off a tough OT loss at Kansas, TCU proved it can go toe-to-toe with elite teams, and building that kind of lead on the road says a lot about its ceiling.
Arizona has been dominant, but some of those big margins have been helped by a ton of free throws. That’s something TCU can at least make uncomfortable with its physical frontcourt and home crowd behind it. Schollmaier Arena has been a tough place for ranked teams, and TCU has a history of rising in these spots.
The Horned Frogs have covered 3 straight and have already shown they can trade punches with top competition. With Arizona coming in undefeated and laying points, I’m happy grabbing TCU at home and trusting it to keep this one close.
BET UNDER 154.5 (-110).
Arizona has been lighting up the scoreboard, but this feels like the spot where that pace finally slows. TCU under Dixon plays physical, half-court basketball and isn’t afraid to turn games into grind-it-out battles. That style can disrupt Arizona’s flow, especially in the paint.
TCU has gone Under in 5 of its last 7 games and consistently holds opponents in check. If the Horned Frogs control tempo and force Arizona to work for everything, this turns into a slower, more physical game than Arizona has seen. That setup favors the Under Saturday.
