Filming will take place from 6:30 p.m. on Thursday through 6 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 24.

FORT WORTH, Texas — Another major TV production is setting up in North Texas — this time, in the heart of downtown Fort Worth.

According to city officials, crews from the Paramount+ series Lioness will film scenes for the show’s upcoming third season, prompting overnight street closures next week.

Filming will take place from 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, through 6 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 24.

The closures will impact the following areas:

Main Street between 5th and 6th streets

Main Street between 7th and 8th streets

8th Street between Main and Houston streets

The Fort Worth Police Department will be on-site to help direct traffic and ensure safety throughout the shoot. City officials say all downtown businesses will remain open during the closures.

Residents can sign up for real-time notifications about road closures by texting “DOWNTOWN CLOSURES” to 817-904-4255.

The production marks another major television production choosing the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex as a filming destination, adding to a growing list of series and movies recently shot across North Texas.

Last month, the town of Boyd was the backdrop for a “future television series.” Officials did not share what type of show is being filmed. Meanwhile, Paramount+ show “Landman” season 2 has been filming several scenes in Fort Worth and, most recently, in Dallas’ Knox-Henderson neighborhood.
