HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Police say a man was shot while driving near a busy interchange in Houston overnight.
According to the Houston Police Department, a man and woman were driving northbound on the West Loop near Wesheimer Road and Suffolk Drive just after 2 a.m. on Monday.
That’s when they both heard two shots and realized the man had been shot in his stomach and leg, HPD said.
An ABC13 crew at the scene spotted multiple bullet holes in one of the windows of a black SUV.
Officials said they don’t know what prompted the shooting, and that the unknown suspect is at large.
Investigators said the man who was shot is expected to be OK.
