SAN ANTONIO — Fire crews responded to a vacant house fire on the Northwest Side on Monday afternoon.

Crews were called around 12:45 p.m. to Camp Bullis and Babcock Road.

According to the San Antonio Fire Department, crews arrived to find a small vacant structure was actively on fire. Fire officials said reports of heavy smoke and windy conditions prompted more units to respond. The fire was out within 20 minutes.

While crews said it appeared no one had lived in the house for some time, the property was deemed a total loss.

Investigators are still working to determine what caused the fire. No one was injured.
