Cooper Flagg is set to make his return in the Big Apple.

After missing the last two games with a left ankle sprain, the Mavericks listed Flagg as available on the team’s injury report for Monday’s 4 p.m. matinee showdown against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

Flagg suffered the ankle sprain in Wednesday’s loss to the Denver Nuggets. He suffered the injury in the second quarter and was ruled out for the second half. He was out for the Mavs’ last two wins over the Utah Jazz on Thursday and Saturday.

In 40 games this season, Flagg is averaging 18.8 points, the second highest average among rookies behind the Charlotte Hornets’ Kon Knueppel (19.0).
