LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) –
Following Saturday’s 65-49 loss to Kansas State, their first defeat of the year, the Texas Tech Lady Raiders (19-1, 6-1) have dropped to No. 19 in the Associated Press rankings released Monday morning.
Other Big 12 schools include:
TCU (18-1, 6-1), 14. Baylor (17-3, 6-1), and 22. West Virginia (15-4, 5-2). The Lady Raiders already have wins over Baylor and West Virginia- both on the road.
Oklahoma State (16-4, 5-2), and Utah (14-5, 5-2) are also receiving votes.
Tech will look to start a new win streak Wednesday in Provo, Utah where they will face the BYU Cougars (14-4, 3-3). Tip-off scheduled for 8 p.m. CT.
