EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — The El Paso Police Department is responding to a vehicle collision on I-10 East at Mesa, where serious injuries have been reported, according to EPPD.
EPPD said as a result of the crash, I-10 East is currently shut down at Redd.
Authorities are urging drivers to seek alternative routes and exercise caution in the area.
According to EPPD, the initial crash came in at 4:42 p.m. at I-10 and Mesa, exit 11.
The El Paso Fire Department said at the time the call came in, there were five transports with minor injuries.
Further details on the incident and the condition of those involved have not yet been released.
