DPS says a driver ran a stop sign at County Roads 36 and 77, causing a crash that claimed the lives of a Corpus Christi father and two of his children.
ROBSTOWN, Texas — A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a deadly crash in Robstown that killed a father and two children.

Texas Department of Public Safety troopers obtained an arrest warrant for Joshua Galvan of Pharr, charging him with three counts of manslaughter.Â

DPS says Galvan was driving a Ford Ranger that ran a stop sign, causing the crash.
Galvan was arrested Thursday afternoon after being released from Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital and booked into the Nueces County Jail.
The crash happened on Jan. 15, at the intersection of County Road 36 and County Road 77.
According to DPS, a 2019 Ford Ranger was traveling westbound on County Road 36 when it failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a 2005 Buick Rendezvous traveling southbound on County Road 77.

The Buick was driven by Randy Rubio, 35, of Corpus Christi, who was traveling with his three children, ages 12, 5, and 4 after spending the evening at the livestock show carnival. The impact sent both vehicles off the roadway.
