A 38-year-old woman was identified after a body was found in a creek in Far East Dallas on Jan. 14.
The woman was identified as Vanessa Barron, according to online records from the Dallas County medical mxaminer’s office. The manner of death was not updated.
Around 10:55 a.m., Dallas officers responded to a person reported to be in high water in the 2800 block of North Buckner Boulevard.
Investigators determined that the woman was seen in the creek and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
