Fort Worth police are searching for a suspect accused of shooting and killing a man over French fries Wednesday.
When officers arrived at an apartment complex near the 9500 block of Jeremiah Drive at about 6:30 p.m., they found an adult male with a gunshot wound to his head, according to a news release from Fort Worth police.
The man was taken to a hospital where he died several hours later, police said.
Investigators determined the victim and suspect were friends arguing over an order of French fries the victim did not want to share. Police said the verbal argument escalated to a shooting, and the suspect fled.
