SAN ANTONIO – Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals accused of robbing an elderly man in August.
The incident happened just before 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 28 at the Costco off UTSA Boulevard near Interstate 10.
Police said the victim was approached by a person requesting a ride to a Walgreens. Upon arrival at the Walgreens, another individual joined the first suspect, took the victim’s phone, and demanded to be driven to a bank. Police say the suspects forced the victim to withdraw a large sum of money before fleeing with the cash.
Anyone with information about the suspects is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 210-224-7867. Crime Stoppers may pay UP TO $5,000 for information which leads to felony arrests in this crime.
