LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A 70-year-old man is facing sexual assault charges after allegedly attacking a teenager in June.
Raymundo Almaraz is accused of assaulting a 17-year-old, according to police records.
The teenager told police Almaraz tried to force himself into a bathroom stall with the teen and then cornered him in a changing area before assaulting him.
The teenager said he was able to fight Almaraz off and escape.
Almaraz is being held in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a charge of sexual assault. His bond is set at $100,000.
