Police chase ends in crash on Apollo Avenue near Railroad Drive in Northeast El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A police chase ended in a crash in Northeast El Paso after officers tried to pull over a driver Thursday afternoon.

According to the El Paso Police Department, a police chase ended at the 5900 block of Apollo Avenue, near Railroad Drive, when a vehicle police had tried to pull over crashed into a rock wall.

EPPD stressed that the driver was arrested and will be charged with evading arrest or detention and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Police did not reveal why or how the traffic stop started or any information regarding the driver.
