Good morning, Texas. Here’s what you need to know today.
Your Weather Planner
A north wind has taken over today, meaning cooler air is filtering in. After areas like Austin and San Antonio surged to the 70s yesterday, temperatures in the 50s are in store for Friday. Many areas will be cold tonight with cold weather advisories in effect from Central Texas to Dallas-Fort Worth. Some areas around the metroplex Saturday may stay below freezing all day. Even with the cold, the sun will be out in full force, helping us warm up quickly by Sunday into early next week.

Westlake alum Cade Klubnik looking to raise his NFL Draft stock
Cade Klubnik had one of the most impressive careers of any quarterback to play high school football in Texas.
He was part of three state titles at Westlake from 2019 to 2021, didn’t lose a game as the starting QB during his junior and senior year, and he left Westlake in 2021 as a 5-star prospect and signed with Clemson. Klubnik has been the Tigers’ starting QB for the past three years, and during that time, he had some impressive moments, like leading his team to an ACC title and playoff appearance in 2024.
