An investigation is ongoing after there was heavy police activity yet again in an Uptown neighborhood on Thursday afternoon, according to officials.

Officers were seen entering and leaving a home on Sage Road, carrying several boxes. At this time, the Houston Police Department isn’t saying what prompted the search, but according to county records, the home belongs to attorney Sean Kennedy.

Back in September 2024, investigators were at Kennedy’s home twice, for a case they say was linked to Robert Bond, who has not been seen in nearly two years. Bond, police said, was last seen at the home in June 2024 and was living with Kennedy and his wife, Alle Price, at the time.

Bond’s mother, Cindy, told ABC13 that she initially thought the search could be connected to her son’s case.

“Maybe I may get some kind of answer, yes. Very hopeful for that,” she said.

Court records said Bond was on probation for drug possession at the time of his disappearance, and police say they found meth and cocaine, along with his social security card and driver’s license during a search of the home in 2024.

Kennedy was eventually charged with drug possession, and Price was charged with credit card fraud.

ABC13 spoke with Kennedy’s wife following a court appearance back in 2024.

“He was living in a hotel when we found him. I have a big heart. I convinced my husband to let him stay with us until we could get him a place, but he started using drugs,” Price said.

Price said she called Bond’s parole officer, and that’s when she says he ran away.

Neither Kennedy nor Price has been charged with anything connected to Bond’s disappearance.

Bond’s mother says she’s frustrated that both are out on bond while she’s still waiting to learn what exactly happened to her son.

“I just hope we have answers. One day soon, hopefully, or sooner than later. We’ve been waiting for over 18 months now.”

She can finally get the closure she’s been desperately seeking.

“I miss him every day. I miss the phone calls. I miss the voice messages.”

Eyewitness News did reach out to Kennedy’s attorney to see if there was any information about this search, but we haven’t heard back.
