EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Following the success of One Battle After Another, the film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Sean Penn that was partially filmed in El Paso, an advocacy group wants City leaders to create an incentive program to make El Paso a major film hub.
On Wednesday, the El Paso Indie Film Movement held a meeting to discuss their incentive proposal, as well as the future of the El Paso Film Commission after leader Drew Mayer-Oakes stepped down and moved to Corpus Christi to lead the film and music commission there.
However, KFOX14/CBS4 would like to hear from you.
Do you support the City offering incentives to bring more film productions to El Paso?
The EP Indie Film Movement meeting will be held at DSF Studios located at 2331 Bassett Ave., near the El Paso Zoo in Southcentral El Paso at 6 p.m.
