CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A suspect is still at large after robbing American Bank on Everhart Road and Alameda Street on Friday, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department.

CCPD Public Information Officer Madeline Vaughn told 3NEWS that no injuries were reported. Officers and investigators are on scene.

CCPD Lt. Burris told 3NEWS that a man walked into the bank with a mask and demanded money, then left in a vehicle heading towards Staples Street. 

Officials have not yet released the suspect’s identity, vehicle description, or the amount of money stolen. The CCPD Criminal Investigations Division and FBI are currently investigating.
