Texas A&M’s 2025 roster featured a long list of future NFL draft selections, headlined by unanimous All-American edge Cashius Howell, who is in the conversation as a potential first-round pick after recording 11.5 sacks and 40-plus pressures during his final season in College Station.

Along with five offensive linemen departing, including star left tackle Trey Zuhn, head coach Mike Elko went into the transfer portal and landed four veteran O-line starters from the SEC, headlined by Alabama transfer Wilkin Formby, who is versatile enough to play at either guard or tackle next season.

Along with linebackers Taurean York and Scooby Williams, Texas A&M’s 17 transfer additions were mostly focused on rebuilding the defense, which will look very different from a personnel perspective in 2026. This week, seven Texas A&M veterans took part in the Senior Bowl practice, and while nine players were invited, Cashius Howell will not take part in the game, while senior defensive end Dayon Hayes was a late addition on Friday.

For all eight players who will take part in Saturday’s game, this is another opportunity to impress NFL scouts, especially Trey Zuhn, who has been taking snaps at center this week, paired with right tackle Dametious Crownover’s impressive week that has likely increased his draft stock.

Star wide receiver KC Concepcion doesn’t need to do much to solidify his status as a low first or high second round selection, already seen as one of the top pass catchers in the draft cycle, and should be a target for teams lacking versatile wideouts with the speed and separation skill set to immediately impact an offense, including the Denver Broncos.

Former Nebraska tight end turned Texas A&M transfer Nate Boerkircher also increased his draft stock, and if the quarterback play isn’t terrible on Saturday, I could easily see the senior reeling in a 50/50 ball in tight coverage. Senior running back Le’Veon Moss and cornerback Will Lee III have been quiet this week, but will look play well in their allotted snaps.

The annual Panini Senior Bowl will start at 1:30 p.m. CT and will air on the NFL Network.
