Mingo is working his way back from a sprained PCL he sustained in his right knee during the preseason. The Cowboys opened Mingo’s 21-day practice window on Oct. 1, meaning the window would have closed Wednesday.

Mingo could play a key role in a Dallas wide receiver group that currently features names like CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens and KaVontae Turpin. Mingo appeared in eight games for the Cowboys last season, posting five catches for 46 yards. Dallas originally acquired Mingo at the trade deadline last year, sending a 2025 fourth-round pick to Carolina.
