DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) – A man accused of breaking into a home and assaulting a woman earlier this month has been arrested, a release from the Houston County Sheriff’s Office revealed.
Joshua Patrick Yance, 28, was arrested on January 30 and charged with one count of rape in the first degree.
Investigators claim that Yance broke into a home near Wicksburg on West Hughway 85 on January 12 and sexually assaulted a woman.
According to the HCSO, Yance was wearing a mask during the assault and investigators worked for two weeks to identify the suspect.
Multiple interviews were conducted during the investigation.

Yance is being held in the Houston County Jail with no bond.
