Heavy rain and lightning is possible Friday night, prompting districts to reschedule.
DALLAS — Due to the possibility of severe storms on Friday evening, school districts across North Texas have rescheduled high school football games planned for that night.
Here is a list of all of the games that have been rescheduled so far:
Argyle ISD

Lovejoy ISD
Due to anticipated thunderstorms on Friday, October 24th, this week’s football games have been rescheduled. The varsity football game against Walnut Grove will now take place on Thursday, October 23rd. Tickets do not need to be repurchased due to the change in dates.
Leopard Friday is one of Lovejoy’s cherished traditions, and we are committed to preserving this special community event. As a result, Leopard Friday has been rescheduled to our next home football game on Friday, November 7th. Please know that the safety of our students, staff, and families was at the forefront of our decision to adjust this week’s schedule.
Principal Wieller will send a communication today to Lovejoy High School parents regarding Early Dismissal on Friday, October 24th.
