EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Police Department celebrated the conclusion of its latest Police Academy class on Friday, Feb. 6.
Thirty-three cadets graduated from the department’s 139rd Academy. The department also celebrated five lateral transfers, from the 23rd lateral class.

The ceremony was held Friday, Feb. 6 at the Starlight Event Center, 6650 Continental.
They will all begin patrol at different regional command centers.
The Academy started last spring and lasted nearly nine months.
