1 dead in Fort Worth house fire, officials say

The Fort Worth Fire Department said the call about the fire came in around 8:06 p.m. Friday.

FORT WORTH, Texas — One person died in a Fort Worth house fire on Friday night, officials said.

The Fort Worth Fire Department told WFAA the call for the fire on Wilbarger Street came in at approximately 8:06 p.m.

Fire officials said one person died and were unsure at the time if it was a man or a woman. 

The investigation of the fire is ongoing, officials said.
