A Sugar Land firefighter was injured while battling a blaze on Saturday at a home near First Colony.
Crews were called to the about 1:30 pm to the home not far from 69 the Southwest Freeway near Highway 6 and the Sugar Land Fire Department says some firefighters began a search for victims while others began putting out the blaze.
At one point an active crewmember was injured and was rushed to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
Another firefighter was also taken to a hospital for evaluation for another injury.
There were no other injuries reported.
