Traffic closure on I-30 in Arlington and Fort Worth this weekend – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

A heads up for drivers in Arlington and Fort Worth this weekend. All lanes of eastbound and westbound Interstate 30 from the Interstate 820 West Loop to Chapel Creek Boulevard (near Linkcrest Drive) will be closed this weekend.

The closure is for the demolition of the Ranch-to-Market Road 2871/Longvue Avenue bridge over I-30.

It will go into effect at 9 p.m. on Friday and remain in effect until 3 p.m. on Sunday.

TxDOT said to expect heavy delays and shared these detours for drivers:
