EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The El Paso Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for an 80-year-old Hispanic man who has been reported missing.
Police say the man was last heard from around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, when he contacted the reporting party to say he was in El Paso. However, authorities say he never reached his intended destination.
According to police, the missing man may be driving a gray 2014 Chrysler 300 with New Mexico license plates AGGL99. The vehicle’s last known location was in the Central area of El Paso.
Officers with the Crimes Against Persons Unit are asking anyone who may have seen the man or his vehicle to contact police immediately.
If the missing person is located, authorities ask that the on-call Crimes Against Persons supervisor be notified through Channel One.
The investigation remains ongoing as police work to locate the missing man and ensure his safety.
