FWISD trustees approved almost $6.5 million in new spending during their Jan. 20 meeting.
Among the big purchases were a nearly $1.7 million increase to a 2021 bond manager contract, $1.2 million for renovations at Western Hills Elementary and $1.1 million for grounds maintenance at athletic fields.
