AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department is asking for public assistance in identifying a woman who used stolen credit cards from a vehicle burglary on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
The incident occurred between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. at 1801 E 51st Street (Mueller Starbucks) and 5345 N IH 35 (Walgreens), according to a press release from the department. After the burglary, the victim’s credit cards were used without authorization at a nearby Walgreens, but the charges were declined. Additionally, the victim’s MacBook and work laptop were stolen.
The suspect is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with a heavy build. The suspect vehicle is described as a white Ford Expedition, possibly from the years 2020 to 2023.
Anyone with information is encouraged to submit a tip anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to an arrest, stated the source.
