Arlington, Texas, ranked No. 7 in SmartAsset’s 2025 list of America’s Safest Cities.

The newly published study ranked 50 of the largest U.S. cities to determine the safest based on five safety metrics on a per-capita basis: violent crime, property crime, vehicular deaths, drug overdose deaths and excessive drinking. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our community, from our first responders to the residents, visitors and businesses who help keep our city safe.

A big shout-out to our fellow Texas cities, Fort Worth and El Paso, for also making it into the top 10. We’re proud to be in such great company!
