LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A woman has died from her injuries after a motorcycle crash in south Lubbock earlier this month.
At midnight on October 15, officers were called to a crash with injuries near 135th Street and Indiana Avenue.
Police say 28-year-old Deziree Combs was taken to UMC with serious injuries. She died from her injuries nearly a week later.
25-year-old Dawson Baker was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
Investigators say it appears the motorcycle was traveling south on Indiana when it veered off the roadway as it ended into a grassy median. The driver then lost control of the motorcycle before crashing.
