It was the wettest Valentine’s Day on record for North Texas on Saturday, which saw first responders sent to several high water calls as more than an inch of rain across the metroplex.

The first incident was called in about 1:17 p.m. near the intersection of Forest Lane and north Central Expressway northbound, officials say.

According to police, two people were reportedly seen in a creek near the location. Dallas Fire-Rescue also responded, helping the two reach the shore.
