The City of Dallas obtained a Temporary Restraining Order on February 12 against a business in the 10600 block of Harry Hines Boulevard as part of ongoing narcotics and prostitution enforcement efforts in the Northwest Patrol Division, according to the Dallas Police Department.

The enforcement operation involved the department’s Vice Unit, Human Trafficking Unit, and the Northwest Prostitution Task Force.

Police said the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) was granted in connection with the alleged promotion of prostitution and narcotics sales by employees at the business.

The Dallas Police Vice Unit confirmed the location closed in compliance with the TRO and that officers secured the building for the duration of the order.

The department did not identify the business or state whether arrests were made.

“The Dallas Police Department is committed to disrupting the criminal enterprises that promote the sale of dangerous drugs and encourage human trafficking and is proud to work with any law enforcement agency which shares the same mission,” the department said.

The department did not specify whether human trafficking charges were filed in connection with this specific location.
