EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — A water main break in Northeast El Paso near the intersection of Sean Haggerty Drive and Dyer Street was reported Monday afternoon after construction crews hit the line, according to El Paso Water.

El Paso Water said it was aware of the break, which was caused by a contractor working in the area.

The utility, in a social media post, said its crews were en route and that customers near the intersection may experience low water pressure.

Crews are expected to remain on-site until repairs are complete and service is restored, El Paso Water said.

This is a developing story, check back for updates.
