EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Water has scheduled a temporary water shut-off this week in Northeast El Paso.

The scheduled water outage will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19.

The outage will impact about 300 homes and businesses near McCombs Street and Will Ruth Avenue, including the Mountain Vista Apartments, 5757 Will Ruth Ave, the water utility said.

This planned shutoff is necessary for crews to replace seven aging valves along McCombs and neighboring streets, El Paso Water said. Wastewater services will not be affected.

Residents and businesses in the affected area are encouraged to store water in advance of the outage.

Three water tankers will be available beginning at 9 a.m. until service is restored at the following locations:

• 5800 block of Pompano Ave.

• Intersection of Robin Hood and Will Ruth.

• In front of the Mountain Vista Apartments along Will Ruth.

Customers with questions can call (915) 263-4000.
