WACO, Texas (KWTX) – Several high school football games in the Central Texas area have been moved up to Oct. 23 because of severe weather in the forecast for Friday.
The La Vega vs. Robinson Varsity football game has been moved to Thursday, October 23 at 7pm.
The La Vega Hall of Fame induction has been moved to Friday, Nov. 7.
The Academy ISD varsity football game has been moved to Thursday, October 23rd. The varsity game will start at 7:00 p.m. For those participating in AMS Football and AYFA night, please arrive at 6:40 p.m. There will be no sub varsity or middle school games.
Holland ISD is moving is Friday night football game to Thursday night at 7:00 pm in Holland. The junior high games will be cancelled.
The Bosqueville game has moved up from a 7 p.m. Friday evening start to 5 p.m. Friday afternoon start.
Crawford ISD has moved its Friday night game and pep rally to Thursday. It will play at 7:30 p.m. in Moody. Weather permitting, the Jr. High games will played at home at 5 p.m. on Friday.
Mexia ISD has moved its game against Whitney to Thursday, Oct. 23. at Blackcat Field.
Bruceviile-Eddy Junior Varsity game has been moved up to Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 5:30 p.m. The varsity football game has been moved up to Oct. 23 at 7:30 p.m. at Bruceville-Eddy.
The Robinson Rockets varsity game has been moved up to Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. at La Vega.
Marlin Junior High’s game has been moved up to Oct. 22 at 5 p.m. The varsity game against Riesel has been moved up to 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 23.
