Join the Arlington Genealogical Society in the 3rd Floor Genealogy/Local History Room for the society’s 55th Anniversary celebration.
The celebration will feature an exciting lineup of presentations, including an overview of AGS’s contributions to the community, an introduction to International Genealogy Day, a verbal tour of the Genealogy Room’s collection, and a look at tech and local maps in the Retro Tech Lab. Representatives from Johnson Station Cemetery will share updates on restoration efforts and we’ll discuss how to verify research and facts in genealogy.
Enjoy a Q&A session, door prizes, and then continue the celebration downstairs in the {re}Brary Room for cake, coffee, and fellowship with the Mayor as we honor the society’s 55 years of preserving history.
This event is free and open to all. You are invited to come discover your roots, connect with history and celebrate Arlington’s legacy!
