Doodlers Unite!
Teens are invited to unwind at Doodlers Unite! on Thursday, Feb. 19 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Ron Wright Lake Arlington Branch Library. Designed for ages 13–17, this relaxed program features music, conversation, and kawaii-style doodling with fresh prompts each session—perfect for de-stressing and getting creative.
Texas Authors Book Club
The Texas Authors Book Club will meet Thursday, Feb. 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the Fielder Museum, to discuss The Things They Carried by Tim O’Brien. This powerful, Pulitzer Prize finalist explores the experiences of soldiers during the Vietnam War and is widely regarded as one of the most important works of American war literature.
Carve with Me!: Initial Inlay
Get hands-on with technology at Carve with Me!: Initial Inlay and learn the basics of woodworking using the Inventables Carvey 3D carving machine. Participants will design and carve a custom initial inlay—perfect for personalizing a project—while gaining an introduction to digital design and carving techniques. This class, located at George W. Hawkes Downtown Library,  is limited to the first six attendees and is open to ages 13 and up.
Back to Vinyl Concert
Turn back the clock at the Back to Vinyl concert on Saturday, Feb. 21 from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at Truth Vinyl. This free show features top hits from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and early 2000s, plus adult drinks, dancing, and the chance to shop vintage records—making it the perfect retro date night.
