Cooper Flagg’s star continues to rise in the world.
The Dallas Mavericks’ rookie phenom is set to appear on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Feb. 23 at 10:30 p.m. The show’s website lists Flagg, Tracy Morgan, Neve Campbell and musical guest TWICE as the lineup for Monday’s episode.

Flagg’s appearance on Fallon’s show makes sense given the Mavericks’ schedule. Dallas has a three-game road trip coming out of the All-Star break, starting with Friday’s loss to the Timberwolves. The Mavs then visit the Pacers on Feb. 22 and head to Brooklyn on Feb. 23 to face the Nets. Fallon’s show is filmed in New York City, so Flagg’s appearance will come the night before Dallas faces Brooklyn.
The rookie has dazzled in his first season in the NBA, averaging 20.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists in the first 49 games of his career. Flagg has missed time recently for the Mavericks as he deals with a left midfoot sprain.
Dallas coach Jason Kidd was noncommittal when asked if he was hopeful that Flagg could suit up during the road trip.
“We’re going to take it day by day,” Kidd said.
