AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin airport says that PreCheck remains available at the airport in spite of Global Entry being temporarily unavailable.

This comes after the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced that PreCheck will remain operational despite an earlier announcement from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security saying that the airport security service would be suspended during the partial government shutdown.

Austin-Bergstrom says that the announcement could change as TSA adjusts their operations in real-time as the situation develops.
