QuikTrip has opened a new convenience store in Texas, pushing its total to more than 300 locations statewide. The retailer said it has plans to expand its footprint across the state with eight to 10 additional stores scheduled to open by the end of 2026 in the Houston metro area.
The new store, which opened on Tuesday in Galveston County, is located at 205 FM 517 Road W. in Dickinson.
“Cities and towns across Texas have continued to embrace QT as more than just a convenience store, and we are excited to join the community of Dickinson that has welcomed us with open arms,” said QuikTrip Corporate Communications Manager Aisha Jefferson.
The c-store chain’s new store features a full-service kitchen with fresh, made-to-order meals; grab-and-go options; and roller grill items. The new store also features the chain’s coffee system, which offers 12 different options on tap, including hot and iced lattes made with real milk and freshly ground coffee beans.
QuikTrip’s new location will bring around 24 new jobs to the area, the company said.
QuikTrip is also growing in the Midwest. On Thursday, QuikTrip opened its seventh Ohio location with five more store in development and expected to open across the state throughout 2026.
QuikTrip’s new travel center in Ohio is located at 875 Glenwood Road in Rossford. The location, off Interstate 75, offers service for 16 cars for gas and six diesel bays for trucks.
“We are excited to continue growing in Ohio and to bring our combination of great food, friendly service and trusted convenience to the Rossford community,” said Jefferson.
