Police are asking for help in identifying the suspect in a southeast Austin hit-and-run that left a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries.
At a approximately 9:47 p.m. on Sept. 26, a Hispanic woman was hit by a vehicle in the 2100 block of Willow Creek Drive, police said. The vehicle, believed to possibly be a red pickup truck, immediately drove off without tending to the woman or calling emergency services.Â
The woman was taken to a hospital, where she still remains, according to police.
Authorities are asking anyone who saw or heard anything in the area to contact investigators. Tips or potential evidence can be submitted online.
