Marcia Jo Gerrity, 69, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026. Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 26th from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with graveside services to follow at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas. Marcia was born on October 24, 1956, to James and Margie Skidmore in Lubbock, Texas. For over 50 years, Marcia called Fort Worth home, where she built a life full of family and friends. After the arrival of her youngest son, Marcia left her position as Vice President of American Service Life Insurance Company To concentrate on raising her family. A lifelong member of the Church of Christ, as well as taught Thursday School for several years. Marcia will be remembered as a loving Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother and Aunt. Marcia is preceded in death by her parents and her sweet Baby Patrick.
