A third suspect in the 2024 shooting death of a Mansfield man outside a Fort Worth strip mall was arrested Monday.
Francisco Maldonado, of River Oaks, has been booked into the Fort Worth City Jail. The 22-year-old suspect faces a murder charge, according to police records.
Daniel Wilson was shot while leaving one of the stores at 2321 Miller Ave. on the evening of Nov. 30, 2024, according to the police report. He was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital, where he died April 27 from complications resulting from his injuries.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner ruled the 20-year-old Wilson’s death a homicide.
James Marshall Ortega, 20, and Gabriel Anthony Jimenez, 22, were previously arrested in connection with the fatal shooting. Both men were indicted on a murder charge in September and are currently being held in the Tarrant County Jail.
