Arson investigators were called to the scene early Thursday morning at 4605 Manor Rd.
AUSTIN, Texas — Crews responded to a fire at an abandoned building early Thursday morning in Central East Austin.Â
The Austin Fire Department (AFD) arrived at about 1:20 a.m. to the fire at 4605 Manor Rd., not far from the Gaylord Sackler Memorial Skate Park.Â
Once on scene, crews said the fire was in the attic of the empty building and that smoke was coming from the inside. Responders were able to put out the fire and no injuries were reported.Â
The cause of the fire is currently unknown, but arson investigators arrived to the building early Thursday.Â
Manor Road was temporarily closed Thursday morning but has since reopened.Â
