VIDEO: Crews worked to put out a fire at an Arlington apartment complex on Monday afternoon. Around 1:34 p.m., the Arlington Fire Department responded to reports of an apartment fire. While enroute, fire crews reported a large column of smoke visible and requested a second alarm to bring additional resources to the scene.
Texas Sky Ranger could be seen coming from the 3-alarm fire at the apartment complex near Little Road and I-20 around 2 p.m. Upon Arlington FD’s arrival, heavy fire conditions were reported on the first and second floors of the apartment building.
Crews immediately initiated an aggressive fire attack and conducted a primary search of the structure, according to Arlington Fire. A short time later, fire was observed through the roof, prompting the request for a third alarm to ensure adequate personnel and equipment were available.
