Police looking for man who stole vehicle from car wash in north Austin

AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police are searching for a suspect who they say stole a car from a car wash in north Austin earlier this month.

APD says the incident occurred at around 4:53 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4 at the Mr. Detail car wash at 1803 Rutland Drive.

Police say the suspect entered the car wash on a bicycle and left in a stolen vehicle.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic make with a mustache, long sideburns and a possible goatee. He was last seen wearing a long Nike T-shirt, sweatpants, a baseball cap, tennis shoes and a jacket.
