LUBBOCK, Texas (KTRE) – Former Lovelady Lady Lion Mihyia Davis had four hits and scored four times in Texas Tech’s 24-0 win over Abilene Christian on Thursday night in the Jeannine McHaney Memorial Classic in Lubbock.
The Red Raiders scored 13 runs in the first inning.
Davis, who started in center field and batted leadoff, was 4-for-5 with 2 RBI and 4 runs. In the second inning, Davis hit a triple to right field, scoring Lauren Allred and Kaitlyn Terry.
Texas Tech has won six games in a row and improved to 17-1 overall. The Red Raiders are back in action Friday night against North Texas.
