LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Patterson Branch Library will host its 23rd annual African American History Month Program and Reception Saturday, Feb. 28 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Information posted on the library website shows this is a chance to honor remarkable local media figures and pay tribute to the trailblazers of African America media in Lubbock whose contributions have paved the way for future generations.
Staff wrote, “don’t miss this chance to celebrate their legacy and inspire the next wave of pioneers! All are welcome.”
The Patterson Branch Library is at 1836 Parkway Drive.
