Dallas-Fort Worth residents can expect warm temperatures early in the week, followed by high chances of thunderstorms.

Sarah Barnes, National Weather Service meteorologist, said the week will start with mostly rain-free conditions through Tuesday, with highs in the low to mid-80s every day. After Tuesday, rain chances will increase into the weekend, and there will be potential for multiple storm systems in the area.

“Another thing to note is that since we are getting into the spring season, we are looking at a potential for some strong to severe storms,” Barnes said. “Mostly looking at a hail and damaging wind threat.”
