AUSTIN, Texas — Police are investigating a shooting incident involving two groups, possibly teenagers, on Thursday night in East Austin.

The Austin Police Department’s Watch Command said the incident occurred on the 1100 block of Gunter Street at around 6:05 p.m.

APD says officers found evidence confirming a shooting took place.

One person has been transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, APD said.

Authorities remain on the scene as the investigation continues.
